Raise-a-Reader Adopts “I Love When You Read”
Thanks to the support of Raise a Reader, elementary schools in the Vancouver Island community of Port Alberni will receive “I Love When You Read”.
The Raise-a-Reader initiative was started in Vancouver in 1997 by CanWest Global to increase literacy in BC. Since its beginnings, Raise-a-Reader has raised more than $10 million in support of literacy programs.
