Tremain Media’s Business Plan Rewarded
Leah Tremain’s smile is a bit wider these days and it’s not just because spring is on its way.
She was the recent recipient of third place in the growth category of Small Business BC’s annual Business Plan Contest. Six finalists were chosen from 170 entries.
Started in 2004, Leah’s company, Tremain Media, creates and distributes educational media, including a DVD series that involves both parents and kids in early learning.
It was the fifth year Small Business BC has sponsored the contest, which is open to all BC-based new and existing small businesses.
Small Business BC is a not-for-profit group funded both provincially and federally that supports entrepreneurs with relevant services and program business information to help businesses thrive and grow.
