How many times is the word rock said in the story? You could keep track with little tic marks and count them after the show. Perhaps your child can tell you each time she hears the word rock.

Before or After the Show

If you live in a big city where can you find rocks? Can you find big rocks and small rocks? Can you see rocks in the pavement of the sidewalks? Are rocks used as landscaping in your neighborhood?

What are ripples? Can you make ripples in the bathtub?
